Went in to get my oil changed, tpms sensor replaced, and a engine filter installed. I greatly appreciate the mechanics there allowing me to hang in the shop, and pointing out the minor issues that needed to be repaired. Turns out I needed a differential fluid change a little worse than I anticipated. Even though it took 2 trips to a dealership to get the right size ring for the front differential drain bolt, I more than appreciate you guys going the extra 100 miles back and forth twice. Suzie almost runs like a new car now, you got yourself a repeat customer, 10 out 10. And sorry about hanging out in the shop, I take any opportunity I have to learn how to take better care of my vehicle, and hopefully not be a nuisance. A lot of times I would fix issues on my car myself if I have the tools, and resources to do it, however Subaru made my car a bit challenging. Update, and boy oh boy, I should have just had you guys do all 4 of the TPMS sensors to begin with. They don't make quality like they use to, again, I greatly appreciate you guys for explaining how these TPMS sensors work. It kinda sucks Subaru got cheap with those lithium batteries in the sensors though. I know of a couple of different mechanics I could have brought my car into. However, they would have chargee almost double what it cost to get the 3 sensors replaced at SBR. With that being said, huge thanks for being more than fair on the price, and labor. You still got yourself a repeat customer, and 10 out 10 service.

It's not just what they "DO", but also who they "ARE." Friendly and outgoing to the max! How often I've swung by to get a question or two answered, and my check engine light checked. I've been to a couple of different shops over my cars lifetime, including the dealership and I've never felt as taken care of as I did at this shop. My check engine light came on, and I tried to get in at the dealership, but their soonest appointment was over a month out. After some googling this shop came up, and seeing their stellar rating I gave them a call and was able to get in the next day. They were quick with their inspection and I love that they put all their findings into a portal that I could take time to review. Every time the dealership found the problem, their techs would speak so quickly that it was difficult to understand what the problem was and what needed to be done to fix it. I would feel rushed to make a decision and get off the phone. But here they took time to explain the problem and I didn't feel rushed to make a decision. Everyone here is competent, kind, and patient and I actually felt comfortable, which isn't a word I would use to describe my experience at any other shop I've been to. Keep doing what you're doing SBR!

We brought our vehicle to a different shop 3 separate times for the same issue and they still did not resolve it... Then we brought it to SBR and they used their time and experience to find the actual cause of the problem that the other shop had missed. They will not always be the cheapest option, but you can save your TIME by going to SBR. We have recommended them to friends and family.

This place earned every star. Great honest service at a fair price which is almost impossible to find in a shop these days. And even though they were busy they got me in the next morning.They found the issue with my engine and kept me updated on what they find with no pressure to fix anything else unless you want them to and also offer the best cheaper options and never made it seem like they want to nickel and dime you like i said they're honest. They also offer a shuttle service which was very convenient as well as offer financing which can be a life saver with this economy. Very kind people all of them. About 100 miles away my ABS ( anti lock breaking system light) came on. I had breaks so decided to head home to Long Lake. Got about 15 miles outside Elk River and my front left wheel started making a rubbing noise. We made it to Elk River and I felt the tire move. We pulled off 169 before the closed Main Street exit ramp. It was about 5:45. I saw a strip mall on west side of 169 with automotive sign and walked thru the ditch to find it closed. I walked further south and saw the doors open at SBR with Andrew in the office doing payroll. He said when he was done he would come and check it out. He did and figured the bearings were going Out. We could not drive it another mile or the wheel would fall off. I thought of having it towed. I didn't want to upset His evening but he said he could fix it. We drove it thru the ditch and nursed it into his bay and after getting on the lift the bearings all came out and the tire was ready to fall off. Andrew ordered the part and with his expertise got a new bearing part installed and we were on our way home. I felt the price was very fair for the situation we were in. Andrew went over and above what an automotive owner had to do. He was so concerned for us and caring. I would highly recommend SBR for any Auto work that is needed

Not only did they do a fantastic job getting our car repaired properly and at a reasonable price, but they communicated with us throughout the process, but they also communicated with us throughout the process to make sure we were clear about what we were paying for. One of the best services that they offer to people that live within their service area is they will actually come pick you up when your car is done to give you a ride back to their shop to pick up your vehicle. That was super helpful as I was out of town at the time and my wife would not have been able to get up there without getting an Uber. Came over here on a whim after having some truck troubles. Boy, am I glad I did. The first impression off the bat was how personable and attentive the staff was. We visited like old friends would. Secondly, they started off strong. When they got to my truck, they went above and beyond on diagnosis. Afterwards I received a link to an inspection report that they completed and it had every detail you could need. If you want pictures, comments, and concerns about your vehicle, they offer an amazing extensive list of exactly what is going on! The customizablilty of service after this point is honestly a dream. It is simple to get an estimate of the work you want done by a few simple clicks and afterwards, your problems slowly begin to fade. Pricing is reasonable and affordable. Not only that, it's very transparent, too. You'll know what's coming. Even speaking with the owner, I was given money saving advice at his own expense. I find that honorable! Wait time: The bays were full, and it was close to closing time when I got there. They have a hassle free drop-off I was able to utilize. They got to my truck the very next day. Other places I looked at had a minimum two day wait, so I highly appreciate that. Thank you SBR team! I know who I'll be looking at for any future work to be done!

Excellent service, communication and recommendations. I first came to SBR off a referral trying to find a shop for my vehicle. After talking to them, and an inspection, found things outside of my knowledge. They not only pointed out these issues but educated me on them, pointed out little details I wouldn't have even noticed like they were experts on that particular model or owned it before themselves. Within' the last few months my mothers Lincoln had begun developing an oil burning condition, Andrew (owner) suggested a Liqui-Moly brand product designed to slow, prevent or completely solve the condition and has not burned since. During an oil change appointment once, Andrew showed me one of his passion vehicles, a beautiful Maserati, started and revved it for me. He didn't have to do that, but he did, and that shows in his character and passion for autos. The team Andrew has are all passionate in cars, the cars the own, and the work they are in. They would happily chat up about different makes and models, and what they really enjoy out of them. That's how you know they pay attention to every last detail, and sets them apart from other shops. I drive out of my way from Maple Grove to this location specifically for these reasons. If you want honest, good service and are sick of trying to deal with shops that aren't reliable, give these people a try. They are worth every bit with communication, fair pricing and explanation of each part, what they will cost, and working with you on whatever request you may have.

I'm a girl who doesn't know much about cars. I'm usually so scared to bring my car in for fear of them taking advantage of my lack of knowledge. I have never felt more comfortable with a shop. Andrew and his team were super patient with me and answered all my questions in a way that I could understand, their estimate included pictures of the broken part along with a description of what needed to be done. My car had a check engine service light come on so I checked it with my scan tool and it read P0171. This code could have been any number of things. Instead of guessing and changing many parts that didn't need changing I talked to Andrew at SB auto. He said they could diagnose and pinpoint the problem. I had confidence in them because they did an excellent job fixing my dad's Jeep liberty last year. They were very thorough with their diagnostic . They communicated very well with me about what they found and if I wanted them to proceed with the repairs which I did. They brought to my attention other parts besides the code problem that needed replaced and never pressured me to have them fix it. The price was good and they did excellent work. I would definitely recommend them.

I had a ton of Ford related issues with my 2016 Fusion, these guys were able to diagnose and fix all of them; I even had a strut that kept going out(it started to creek weeks after replacing), they continued to honor the 24,000 mile warranty each time they replaced the strut; and I guess with Ford OEM third times the charm because this time around she's mint and better than ever. If you just purchased a car or have a euro car these guys are your best local option I would definitely recommend them over any dealership, their pricing was always fair and reasonable and they definitely made me feel like every dime was worth it. They sent me comprehensive photos and videos of what they found each time a new issue popped up. They also honored my aftermarket car warranty through Carmax known as a ?MaxCare Plan?

I took my 2018 Ford Raptor to SBR this week for an oil change and tire rotation. The work was done quickly and at a fair price. During the service, the technician found that my front passenger spring was broken all the way through. I've owned the truck for just under a year and have never had to use the service contract I purchased when I bought the truck so I was unfamiliar with the claims process. Jycenta at SBR worked all of that out for me so I didn't have to even worry about it. She coordinated directly with the service contract company on my behalf. When the service contract company pushed back on what was covered, Jycenta provided all of the required information and justification to get the full amount of the claim covered. She was even able to get an additional part and its installation labor covered for me as part of that same claim. She's awesome at what she does and SBR is lucky to have her. I really feel that SBR is an honest repair shop, and they advocate for their customers well. I've found a new auto repair home at SBR and I couldn't be happier with them. Thank you!

I took my SUV in for a bad wheel bearing. They took care of that issue after doing a check to confirm the issue. They also did an in depth diagnostic on the car and reported back with a detailed report that included pictures and even videos of problem spots to be concerned of. This gives a person a great sense that the concerns are legitimate. You can see why they recommend the service(s) that they recommend. That being said, there was no unnecessary sales pressure. In addition, they cleaned up another small issue free of charge not related to the service requested. Super nice people, very thorough and helpful. Would recommend!

Great experience with SBR. I came in at 4pm when they closed at 5 because my car was making a lot of noises. I hate doing that to businesses, but I just needed to know if it was safe to drive home. I had a great experience with Andrew and SBR Automotive. We thought that we had some alignment issue and it turned out to be one brake caliper was sticking and always on. They fixed it and it's counterpart on the other side and now the vehicle is running well again. They also fixed a radiator leak. They took the vehicle out on test drive which I appreciated to make sure everything was working as it should. I don't know that places do that all that much anymore. I would use them again.

I brought my '06 4Runner in for some suspension work (lift kit and the like) and they not only did a wonderful job, they also found problems with the the rig other shops did not (I brought it in to other shops for some issues which they said they couldn't find. Long story short, Andrew and the team at SBR are a very trustworthy shop for your car/truck. I was in Elk River on a Friday visiting my daughter when my Jeep Liberty died and wouldn't start. She called a couple places she knew and no one could get us in until the following week. Not knowing any auto repair shops in the area I started reviewing them online. I liked what I saw with SBR Automotive and called them. Andrew answered the phone and I told him my predicament. He said bring it in and they would diagnose the problem and try and get it fixed if they could get the parts.I had it towed there around 2 and he called me at 3 to tell me it was the fuel pump inside the gas tank. They stayed past their closing time to get my Jeep fixed. The price was good and the work was excellent. I have brought my car in on two different occasions and I am blown away but the service I received from Andrew and his team. The first time I went in, I had a rich fuel condition and a check engine light. I had no idea what was wrong but they dug in and figured out I had a bad air fuel ratio sensor. They were quick, fair on price, and it runs like a champ. The second trip was a walnut blasting to clean the intake valves. This was scheduled maintenance and they were fast, fair on pricing, and certainly did a good job. I'll definitely be back for more!

After the timing chain brought my car to a dead halt, nobody in town would even take the job on my Mini Countryman. Was referred here from AJ's and I was not disappointed. They essentially restored the car back to new, from the engine to the tires. Andrew and the entire team were always in communication and took a lot of pride in the work they were performing. They were able to complete a large amount of repairs on the car in only a week, which led me to bring my other Mini in for new tires and an oil change. It was more expensive than your average shop, but nobody in the metro area has been able to work on my Mini's AND have it leave without new problems in the 13 years of being a Mini owner. Feel like I just left the dealership. Whether you drive an import or domestic vehicle, I personally don't think there is anyone else I would bring my car to.

Absolutely incredibly phenomenal. I have a story to share about this company and their staff. Before you consider any other mechanic repair shop READ THIS! I was a ways from home and realized my tire was loosing pressure fast. I kept stopping to fill it at every gas station I drove by. It got to the point where the bolt in my tire was draining it completely with in minutes. I was close to this repair shop but unfortunately it was showing as closing in 5 minutes. I pull up explain the situation and the owner literally opens his shop back up and pulls me in to fix my tire so I could get home. AFTER HOURS! The next day I bring it back to just replace all my tires and also have them do a bunch of pending work I needed to have done. I was astonished at his fair pricing so I pulled the trigger on all of the work! I have never seen such fair pricing at any auto shop EVER! Then to top it off, the staff where so friendly I felt like I was hanging out with family while I waited for my car. They gave me drinks, chips and candy lol :) we had awesome conversations and my car is feeling amazing and looking amazing! I feel so taken care of it's unreal. I have never left a review in my life but?. I am so happy SRB Automotive is my first! Hey all, SBR did an amazing job with their customer service and work performed. I initially brought my ?15 Legacy 3.6R in to the dealership for some regular maintenance and asked them to do a post winter alignment. With my aftermarket suspension and being lowered the dealership attempted and failed on my alignment, actually stripped my rear camber bolts, and I left there with a worse alignment than I started. SBR was able to correct the botched alignment job and ordered/installed new camber bolts from Whiteline for my Whiteline rear LCAs. My baby is now perfectly aligned and handling as it should. Keep up the great work guys!

Aside from the work they did on my 2012 Impala, they recommended the stabilizer bars in the rear be replaced in the future but told me it wasn't critical at this point. Brought my car in for a mystery sound. Unfortunately, we were not able to fix it. They did every single thing possible to duplicate the issue, but the car decided it didn't want to make the noise that day. Why still 5 stars? They spent a lot of time trying to figure it out, told us everything that was wrong with our car and then sent us on our way. They did not pressure us into service or spring a charge on us for looking at it. They proved that it really is all about the customer and the car, not about themselves. On a side note, the quotes we got were MUCH lower than every single other quote I had received and will definitely be switching all my mechanic work to them. This is the type of mechanic shop we need to ensure gets our business. Honest and care more about getting it right, than just getting paid.
